The standoff portrayed in this work of art could very well exemplify the meaning of the term, "over a barrel". This professional PRCA bullfighter has a few tricks up his colorful, sleeves, though: I personally watched him stare down this big bull until it turned and trotted down the alleyway and disappeared behind the chutes.
Taking the artistic license, I changed some of the garments that this bullfighter was wearing when I watched this encounter. Note the wild rags dangling from his back pockets; one bright red with a black scorpion on it, and the other black with a skull and cross bones. As for the leopard print "tail", and the fuchsia and white flowered drawers peeking out of his denim skirt, designing them had me laughing while I painted.
